Special Events Consultants (SEC) was established at the beginning of 1992 by Laurence Duckworth, who already had a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry, both as a respected artiste and actor (and who still likes to ‘dip his toe’ in the water on the odd occasion when fame and fortune beckon!).

Since its inception, SEC has built up an impressive client list together with a vast and varied database of experienced & dedicated artistes. Their talents may be diverse, but experience, reliability and professionalism are qualities shared by them all.

Laurence is ably assisted by Annette (alias the Bookworm) who revels in all the ‘boring bits’ – such as accounts, paperwork, IT, advertising, etc. etc. – and whose hobby is speaking in diverse tongues.
